21 BIBLE VERSES ABOUT OLD AGE

"You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the LORD." (Leviticus 19:32)

So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come. (Psalms 71:18)

Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent. (Psalms 71:9)

The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the LORD; they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, To declare that the LORD is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. (Psalms 92:12-15)

And at the end of your life you groan, when your flesh and body are consumed, And you say, "How I hated discipline, and my heart despised reproof! I did not listen to the voice of my teachers or incline my ear to my instructors. I am at the brink of utter ruin in the assembled congregation." (Proverbs 5:11-14)

The glory of young men is their strength, but the splendor of old men is their gray hair. (Proverbs 20:29)

Listen to your father who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. (Proverbs 23:22)

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:16)
