THE ARRIVAL OF PEACE IN UMUOGBO EKPOSHI COMMUNITY.

It is a thing of great joy to see peace walking with foot in Umuogbo Ekposhi Community after so many years of rivalry.

Umuogbo Ekposhi is a small community located in Igbo Eze North L.G.A in Enugu State of Nigeria. Is a community made up siblings. They don't intermarry themselves. They considered it a  taboo to marry each other since they were siblings.

The Community was known with peace and harmony. They loved themselves so much until the enemy of peace (Satan) brought misunderstandings and quarrelling in the land. Everywhere was scattered and peace and unity flew away from the land.

The rivalry continued as brethren were praying for the land. "The more  we pray is the more misunderstandings rises" one of the brothers said. The rivalry rose to the highest tempo to the extent that even court could not decide the case.

But thank God for Rev. Samuel Onyekachukwu whom God used to host a total land libration Crusade held on 27th January 2017 at C.P.S umuogbo Ekposhi field. It was through that Crusade that the people of the land came together again as one after years of misunderstandings and quarrelling. God used him to bring light into darkness in the land of Ekposhi. The Crusade was so great to the extent that even some Muslims attended the crusade and few of them surrendered their lives to Christ Jesus. Glory be to God.

ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE BY APOSTLE W.E NWOKEOMA

IT IS DANGEROUS TO HAVE ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE: MY PEOPLE PERISH FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE SAYS THE SCRIPTURES.
WE DO NOT BUILD A DOCTRINE ON ONE SCRIPTURE
If God were to keep record of our iniquity who shall stand but...Psalm 130:3 & 4; Christ has set me free from the curse of the law Gal 3:16, As believers in Christ, we stand fully and completely in what Christ did at Calvary to redeem us NOT on what we can do to be save Gal 4:21-31. We are saved by GRACE alone Eph 2:8-10; of course we shall not use our freedom to sin Gal 5:1 but we SHALL walk in the SPIRIT so as not to fulfill the lust of the flesh Gal 5:16.
We have false teachings and teachers today just like there was in days of the Apostle Paul. To save ourselves from these false teachings, WE MUST STAY CLOSE TO OUR BIBLE AND TO TEACHERS WHO RIGHTLY DIVIDE (EXPLAIN) THE WORD OF TRUTH. We must discern wrong teaching and AVOID being led astray or carried about/away with every wind of doctrine that are not founded in Scriptural truth; the teachings of Jesus Christ and that of the Apostles. Acts 2:42 says, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship..."
The apostles sat under the discipleship of no other than Jesus Christ the author and finisher of our faith.

We are today the children of God by our FAITH in Christ Jesus. The new covenant is based on God's promise, "I will..." (see Gen 12:2-3). It is based on grace and gives freedom.
When people begin to tell or teach you to eat this and not that, to wear this and don't wear that to be properly saved or to be pleasing to God, IT AMOUNTS TO DOWN-PLAYING THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST which Paul preached as the only thing worth boasting about (Gal6:14)

"What counts is a new creation" (Gal 6:15), a lifestyle different from the old sinful one.
As an associate pastor, I have seen some members who removed their trousers and earrings and the rest but their lifestyle was still not different from those who are full blown unbelievers, people who have no business whatsoever with Christ. It is one thing to have just joined a church or movement and have certain things on your body removed WITHOUT meeting Jesus Christ the Lord and owner of the church for the circumcision of your heart and the regeneration of your life. Until a man's life is regenerated along with the circumcision of his heart, the man will only be practicing RELIGION while comparing himself with others.
Don't let us minor on Major and major on Minor.
May God grant us grace to know Him and His Word and may Christ be birthed in us individually in Jesus name.
